8th grade students will be listening to a presentation about South Shore VoTech this week in their science classes. Students who have an interest in attending VoTech for high school will be invited to visit the school on November 10th (after completing an application). Applications as well as field trip permission slips are available in the guidance office.

Johns Hopkins Talent Search
Students in grades 7 and 8 who scored advanced in any subject area on the spring 2010 MCAS are invited to participate in the Johns Hopkins Talent Search. Participants will have the opportunity to take the SATs in January. Students who have previously participated in the Talent Search describe it as a worthwhile activity.
